Italian powerhouses Juventus and AC Milan face off in the Supercoppa Italiana semifinal in the first fixture on our list. A clash with Inter Milan in Monday's final (also live on CBS Sports Network and Paramount+) awaits the winner of this match, with the Nerazzurri beating Atalanta 2-0 in the other game. Newly-appointed Rossoneri head coach Sergio Conceicao will make his debut in this game following the recent sacking of Paulo Fonseca but only time will tell whether the Portuguese tactician can turn things around and get the better of Thiago Motta.

Arsenal face Brighton and Newcastle in four days in another grueling test for the Gunners

Arsenal are back in action this weekend, facing Brighton in the first of two tricky fixtures for the Gunners over the next few days. This Premier League showdown, live on NBC, Peacock, and Telemundo, hands Arteta's men a shot at revenge after drawing 1-1 at home to the Seagulls earlier this season. However, Mikel will have one eye on this weekend and another on their midweek game.

The North London giants will face Newcastle on Tuesday live on Paramount+ in the first leg of their tough Carabao Cup semifinal matchup. This presents the Saka-less Arsenal with an opportunity to win silverware for the first time since 2020. However, the Gunners lost 1-0 when they last crossed paths with the Magpies and should be in for a tough ride once more.

PSG vs Monaco live this Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET on beIN SPORTS, beIN SPORTS en Español, and beIN SPORTS CONNECT

French giants PSG take to the field this weekend, locking horns with Monaco in the Trophée des Champions final. These two sides met in Ligue 1 in mid-December, which Les Parisiens won 4-2, meaning Adi Hütter's men will be out for revenge. However, while Luis Enrique's side have struggled in Europe, the French Super Cup holders have not lost a domestic game in eight months and will be looking to keep this run going.

English Premier League coverage for NBC and USA Network: Jan. 4-6, 2025

USA Network and NBC have Premier League fans covered in the United States, with these two networks airing over half of the Matchday 20 fixtures.

USA Network will be carrying more live English top-flight matches than NBC, with only one of the traditional Big Six featuring on this channel. That side is Tottenham, with the North London giants locking horns with Newcastle amid atrocious form, losing their last three league games in a row.

Three relegation-battling sides will also take to the stage live on USA Network and they are Everton, Ipswich Town, and Wolves, who face Bournemouth, Fulham, and Nottingham Forest respectively.

However, the most highly-anticipated matches of the weekend have been reserved for NBC, with the network televising Arsenal's trip to Brighton and Liverpool's exciting battle with Manchester United live.

The Gunners and Merseyside giants are the two favorites for the title, though six points separate the North London side from the league leaders. Slot's men boast a game in hand and should be confident of achieving a result against the struggling Manchester United.

Premier League, Serie A, and Supercoppa Italiana final set to be streamed live on fuboTV in first week of 2025

We are only in the first week of 2025 but fuboTV is already set to deliver another round of exciting live soccer matches, starting as early as Friday with Real Madrid's trip to Valencia.

This fixture, the first La Liga match of the new calendar year, is one of many live games from nine different European competitions available on the platform from January 3 to January 6. This includes several of the continent's major leagues i.e. the Premier League, Serie A, Ligue 1, and others.

Three French competitions make the list, including the French top flight and second division. However, all eyes will be on the Trophée des Champions, with PSG taking on bitter rivals Monaco in the decisive fixture. Les Parisiens are the title holders and beat Monaco in Ligue 1 in mid-December, thus making Luis Enrique's side the favorites.

Meanwhile, Serie A and the English Premier League all take center stage, with Scudetto challengers Napoli facing Fiorentina while Lazio visit Roma in the Derby della Capital. The standout weekend games see Arsenal travel to Brighton while English top-flight leaders Liverpool host Manchester United in what could be another embarrassing day for the Red Devils given their form.

The Supercoppa Italiana final will also be available on this platform, with Scudetto holders Inter Milan facing one of Juventus or AC Milan in the decisive game.

Liverpool's Slot says Man Utd 'much better' than league table shows

Arne Slot says crisis-hit Manchester United are "much, much better" than their shocking position in the Premier League suggests as he prepares his Liverpool team for a clash against their fierce rivals on Sunday.

Liverpool are six points clear at the top of the Premier League table -- and are hot favorites to land a 20th English top-flight crown, which would pull them level with record-holders United.

United, by contrast, are 14th in the table after five defeats in their past six league games under new manager Ruben Amorim.

But Slot, also in his first campaign in England, is adamant he will not take his opponents lightly at Anfield when asked if he might rest players at Friday's pre-match press conference. Read more…

Premier League chief fears Club World Cup's impact on Man City and Chelsea

Premier League chief executive Richard Masters fears this year's Club World Cup could create "great difficulty" for Manchester City and Chelsea ahead of next season's English top-flight campaign.

The two clubs will be England's representatives in FIFA's expanded 32-team event in the United States, with players' unions threatening legal action on welfare grounds and national leagues unhappy about the potential knock-on effects on their own competitions.

The Club World Cup final is due to be played on July 13, with the 2025/26 Premier League season starting on August 16.

"The leagues and the players' unions are not happy with the decisions that are being taken at a global level," Masters told Sky Sports. Read more…

Man Utd in a relegation battle, says under-fire Amorim

Ruben Amorim said Manchester United are in a battle for Premier League survival after losing 2-0 to Newcastle on Monday to end 2024 14th in the table.

United are seven points above the relegation zone but are on the slide since Amorim took charge last month.

Alexander Isak and Joelinton struck inside the first 19 minutes as United lost a third consecutive home league game since 1979.

"That is really clear so we have to fight," said Amorim on United being dragged into a relegation battle.

"It is a really difficult moment, one of the more difficult moments in the history of Manchester United and we have to address it with honesty. Read more…

AC Milan sack coach Fonseca after just six months

AC Milan sacked coach Paulo Fonseca on Monday after just six months in charge with the Italian giants failing to mount a Serie A title challenge.

The 51-year-old Portuguese handler had pre-empted the announcement by saying he had been fired as he left the San Siro following his press conference after the draw with AS Roma on Sunday.

His compatriot Sergio Conceicao is expected to replace the former Shakhtar Donetsk, Roma and Lille coach.

The 1-1 draw was the sixth of the season and left them in seventh spot eight points off Lazio in the fourth and final Champions League place, and also a massive 12 adrift of city rivals Inter, who are challenging for the title. Read more…

Salah says new Liverpool contract still 'far away'

Mohamed Salah said talks over a new Liverpool contract have not moved on significantly after starring once more in a 5-0 thrashing of West Ham on Sunday to help open up an eight-point Premier League lead.

The Egyptian scored once and set up two more goals to take his tally of goals in all competitions for the season to 20 plus 17 assists in 24 Premier League and Champions League appearances.

Salah, along with team-mates Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold, is out of contract at the end of the season, meaning they could discuss a free transfer with non-English clubs from January 1. Read more…

Guardiola won't quit troubled Man City

Pep Guardiola insists he will not walk out on troubled Manchester City as he strives to stop the champions' stunning decline.

Guardiola only recently signed a two-year contract extension but City's dismal form has raised questions about his future at the Etihad Stadium.

A nightmare run of nine defeats in 13 games, with just one win in that woeful spell, triggered suggestions the City boss could decide to quit if he cannot find an answer to his team's problems.

But, having led City to six Premier League titles in the past seven seasons, Guardiola is adamant he still has the hunger to turn the situation around. Read more…

Barca's Yamal vows to 'come back better' after ankle injury

Barcelona's star winger Lamine Yamal has vowed to "come back better" after injuring his right ankle earlier this month during a La Liga match.

The 17-year-old, a key member of Spain's Euro 2024-winning side, hurt his ankle in a challenge during Barcelona's 1-0 loss at home to Leganes on December 15.

The club estimated at the time that Yamal would be out for up to four weeks.

"I am in a recovery process which I am very sure I will come back better from and with more determination," Yamal said in a video posted by Barcelona on social media on Friday. Read more…

Dumfries double takes Inter into Italian Super Cup final

Denzel Dumfries scored both goals as Inter Milan defeated Atalanta 2-0 on Thursday in Riyadh to book his team a place in the Italian Super Cup final.

The Netherlands international put the reigning Serie A champions ahead against this season's league leaders four minutes into the second half with an acrobatic finish from close range.

Dumfries drilled in his second of the game on the hour with a blistering strike from the edge of the box to seal Inter's spot in the final on January 6 against either Juventus or AC Milan.

Last season's Italian Cup winners Juventus play Milan on Friday in the second semi-final of the four-team tournament in Saudi Arabia, which is staging the Super Cup for the third year in a row. Read more…
