Halmstad 1-1 Elfsborg
Halmstad but an end to their three-match losing streak, even if a late leveller from Elfsborg denied them a first three-point haul of the campaign, as the visitors could only close the gap to Sirius to four points.
Midway through the first half the home side went ahead when Hussein Carneil took down a long crossfield ball from Andreas Boman, before his curling cross evaded everyone in the penalty area and found its way into the back of the net.
That's how things stayed until 10 minutes of the match to play, when Momoh Camara skipped away from his marker on the byline before squaring the ball across for Arber Zeneli to strike first time and ensure a share of the spoils.
Despite the heartbreak, Halmstad have moved off the bottom of the table for the time being, going ahead of Goteborg on goal difference, as Elfsborg climb back above Hammarby and into second.
GAIS 1-1 Degerfors
Given their identical records so far this season, the 1-1 draw between GAIS and Degerfors was perhaps more expected - the pair now sit on nine points in eighth and ninth, respectively, though the Gothenburg side are five matches unbeaten, while the visitors got back on track after a heavy defeat last time out.
It was the home side who went ahead just 13 minutes in, when a drilled cross from Matteo de Brienne was headed home by William Milovanovic.
But with just eight minutes to play, Degerfors hit back when a measured attack resulted in Elias Barsoum latching onto a through ball and pulling it across goal for Erik Lindell to bundle in.
