ViX is a Spanish-language streaming service focused on entertainment, news, and sports. It broadcasts in hundreds of millions of households in the USA and Mexico, as well as several territories in Spanish-speaking Latin America. ViX is owned by TelevisaUnivision Inc. and was launched in March 2022. Programming aired on ViX is available on multiple platforms, including the web, mobile devices, and Smart TVs. Its catalog of content is extended through original content from its sister linear channels. Viewers can watch classic telenovelas; TV series and blockbuster movies; kids’ shows, newscasts, live soccer, and more. Competitions for which ViX has been awarded streaming rights since it was introduced include the FIFA World Cup and UEFA Champions League. In South America, ViX has offered live coverage of top soccer divisions. Live soccer broadcasts have been available on different terms with geo-restrictions. While some of the coverage has been exclusive to the platform with widespread access, some broadcasts have been limited to premium access.
