Great 38 - WTTA

WTTA or Great 38 is an English-language regional US channel affiliated to MyNetworkTV network and licensed to St. Petersburg, Florida. The channel was founded in 1986, and it first aired in 1991. It is owned by Nexstar Media Group since 2016. WFLA-TV is the main sister channel of WTTA.

Besides St. Petersburg, WTTA also serves the region of Tampa. WTTA is available on channel 6 with Charter Spectrum and Wide Open West cable systems. On Comcast Xfinity, WTTA is available at channel 11 in Sarasota County and channel 29 in Hardee County. PSIP users can catch the network on channel 38.

The streaming of WTTA is also available via the authenticated streaming services of the providers that offer the network.

In the past, it has carried sports programming from its sister channel WFLA-TV when the latter has been unable to. Content it has aired over time include events involving local sports teams such as Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Tampa Bay Rays, South Florida Bulls and more in action on the channel.

Occasionally, soccer fans may also be able to follow local team Tampa Bay Rowdies, which plays in the USL championship, on Great 38.
