Bo Svensson gets perfect debut as FC Copenhagen coach as Lions humiliate Silkeborg

FC Copenhagen began the match with all the optimism and energy that they have been lacking for the majority of the season and were rewarded already after six minutes when Mohamed Elyounoussi beat the visitors' offside trap to come face-to-face with Silkeborg keeper Nicolai Larsen. But instead of finishing off the move himself, Elyounoussi cleverly squared the ball for the onrushing Youssoufa Moukoko, who was left with an easy tap-in.

Six minutes later, the home side doubled the lead when a Silkeborg clearance from a corner fell kindly at the feet of FC Copenhagen's Brazilian striker Robert, who found the net with a clinical effort from the edge of the box.

After 17 minutes, the match was more or less already decided when William Clem copied Robert's effort by leaving Larsen helpless with a superb finish from the edge of the box after an impressive Copenhagen build-up against a Silkeborg outfit in virtual shock.

Bad then turned to worse for Kent Nielsen's men when the home side made it 4-0 after 25 minutes. Mathias 'Zanka' Jorgensen squared a header into the box where Moukoko stole in to guide the ball over the line and score his second of the night.

The Copenhagen goalshow then continued six minutes after the break when Moukoko completed his hat-trick as he received the ball during a counter-attack, drove the ball to the edge of the box and finished off with a clinical effort to the left corner.

After 62 minutes, the home side then made it 6-0 when the Silkeborg defense was once again caught napping, allowing Mohamed Elyounoussi to find a completely unmarked Robert in front of goal, and the Brazilian made no mistake, rifling the ball into the roof of the net.

But the Copenhagen party still wasn't finished, as the home side made it 7-0 with thirteen minutes to go when William Clem delivered a superb delivery at the Silkeborg back post, where Swedish striker Jordan Larsson arrived to steer a powerful header past Larsen.
