Sky Go is an Italian over-the-top (OTT) subscription streaming service operated by Sky Italia. It allows users to watch content from the satellite TV platform’s various networks—including Sky Sport channels—on their smartphones, tablets, and computers. Channel listings on the Sky Go service depends on the users’ subscription plans. Sky Go streams content in standard definition and has been included in Sky TV packages at no cost, in the past.
In addition to acting as a TV Everywhere service on which content from multiple sources are streamed live, Sky Go can also be used as a Catch-Up service with a comprehensive catalog of videos available on demand. Content released on Sky Go includes football and other sports, blockbuster movies, TV series, documentaries, children’s shows and more. Videos that have their original audio in languages other than Italian may come with subtitles.
A more robust version of the service, known as Sky Go Plus, lets users access their channels via their gaming consoles and download programs to watch later, while taking advantage of simultaneous streaming on different devices, and benefiting from other advanced functionalities.

Although it largely maintained the themes of its networks, its packages, pricing, and channel distributions saw some changes. Aside from broadcasting sporting events, Sky Sport also feeds its viewers with news updates, highlights, and exclusive clips around the world of sports. In addition, it produces its own programs from its studios to complements its events coverage.
