Manchester United striker Anthony Martial has landed a new Premier League record with his goal contribution in Saturday's big win over Bournemouth. The 24-year-old Frenchman was on target in the first half as his side cruised to a 5-2 victory in the afternoon's encounter.
Having entered the Matchday 33 fixture with a remarkable 15-game unbeaten run, United was dealt a blow in the early minutes as Junior Stanislas fired the visitors into the lead. Following the 15th-minute strike, young Mason Greenwood added to his impressive scoring streak by smashing home an equalizer in the 29th-minute.
Six minutes later, a penalty decision went in favor of the Red Devils and was accurately dispatched by Marcus Rashford for his first goal in 2020, and his 15th in the league thus far. Then came Anthony Martial's moment in second minute of additional time.

The Frenchman sparked euphoria by bagging a curler to enter his side's history book as the first player to score a Premier League goal in every month of the year. In a broader perspective, he is the second player to achieve the feat in the competition after Chelsea's Willian did so with his goal against Manchester City.

In subsequent developments, a Josh King penalty in the 49th-minute gave Bournemouth a brief sense of optimism but another goal from Mason Greenwood and a Bruno Fernandes free-kick dealt with the prospect of any turnaround ensuing.
