However, Gabriel Milito's side are on a 10-game winless run that stretches back to late October and will have to overcome a Brazilian club in a Copa Libertadores knockout stage match for the first time since 2013. Meanwhile, Botafogo's pathway to the final was not easy, narrowly overcoming Palmeiras and Sao Paulo before beating Penarol 6-3 on aggregate in the semis. Unlike their opponents, Botafogo have never won the Copa Libertadores. Can they end this wait on Saturday?

Telemundo, Universo, and Peacock will team up to cover the USWNT's friendly games against two of the top European teams. We are talking about their game on November 30 against England. Three days later, the USWNT will embark on a new adventure against the Netherlands, which will see them lock horns one more time after their one-all draw in last year's World Cup.
Saturday's match will be quite special for the Americans, as they will visit the legendary Wembley Stadium against the World Cup finalists. That game will be aired by Telemundo and Universo, leaving Peacock with exclusive streaming coverage.

Many soccer leagues and tournaments will be offered this weekend for all on ESPN Deportes and ESPN+. The streaming platform and the Spanish-language channel will team up this weekend to cover up to 100 matches between amateur and professional soccer games.
The Spanish-language feed will be able to cover the full extent of this week's La Liga action, where Barcelona will try to extend their lead at the top of the competition. It will also be quite relevant to keep an eye on what Real Madrid can do following their loss in the Champions League. Luckily for them, their clash against Getafe will give them a chance to lick their wounds.
Added to the options offered by the channel and the platform mentioned above, ESPN2 will contribute to the network's efforts to bring as many games as possible when they air the DFB Pokal match between Bayern München and Bayer Leverkusen, two of the best teams in the Bundesliga.
This will not be the only top European competition being covered by the network, as ESPN+ will also offer the Belgian Pro League, the Eredivisie, the Bundesliga 2, and the Spanish Segunda División will also be included on ESPN+'s schedule.
While these leagues will be the top attraction for professional soccer fans, NCAA Soccer will be the main source of entertainment on ESPN+, as the platform will include quite a few fixtures from both the men's and women's categories.

The free-scoring Los Angeles Galaxy are chasing a record-extending sixth MLS Cup title as they head into Saturday's Western Conference final with the Seattle Sounders.
The winner of their clash at the Galaxy's Dignity Health Park will play Orlando City or the New York Red Bulls, who meet in the Eastern Conference final.

Rasmus Hojlund scored twice as Manchester United won a chaotic Europa League encounter against Bodo/Glimt 3-2 on Thursday, giving Ruben Amorim a vital win in his first home game at Old Trafford.
Alejandro Garnacho gave the home side a lightning start after a shocking error from opposition goalkeeper Nikita Haikin.
But Hakon Evjen levelled for the Norwegians and Philip Zinckernagel surged down the right wing to give them a shock lead.

Liverpool more 'up for it' than beaten Madrid, concedes Bellingham
Jude Bellingham said Real Madrid were beaten by the best team in Europe right now after a 2-0 defeat to Liverpool and questioned the holders' attitude after a third loss in five Champions League games.
The 15-time winners are 24th in the 36-team table with three games of the league phase remaining and run the risk of failing to make the knockout stages.
Liverpool, by contrast, are flying at the top of the table with a maximum 15 points from their five games and are also eight points clear at the summit of the Premier League.
"From the first minute they just took control of the game," Bellingham told TNT Sports on a disappointing return to England.

Camavinga joins Real Madrid injury list
French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has joined Real Madrid's growing injury list after injuring his thigh in Wednesday's 2-0 Champions League defeat in Liverpool.
"The player has been diagnosed with a muscular injury in the biceps femoris of his left leg. His progress will be monitored," Real Madrid said in a statement without revealing the length of his absence.
According to Spanish press reports Camavinga, who already injured his knee last September, is expected to be sidelined for between two and three weeks.
The 22-year-old came off in the 56th minute with the same injury which has kept teammate Vinicius Junior out of action for several weeks. Read more…
Guardiola says no intent to 'make light' of self-harm in post-match comments
Pep Guardiola insisted Wednesday he did not mean to make light of issues of self-harm after comments about a cut on his nose following Manchester City's Champions League collapse against Feyenoord.
The City boss was spotted with the scratch during Tuesday's 3-3 draw at the Etihad, in which they blew a 3-0 lead, and was asked about it during his post-match press conference.
Guardiola replied that he had caused it with a fingernail, adding apparently as a joke: "I want to harm myself."

Spurs goalkeeper Vicario out for 'months' with broken ankle
Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario faces "months" on the sidelines after breaking his ankle in Saturday's 4-0 win at Manchester City, Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou said.
The Italy international needed treatment after a first-half collision with City winger Savinho at the Etihad but was able to finish the game.
The 28-year-old, who had surgery on Monday, has been a virtual ever-present since he signed for Tottenham in 2023 but Postecoglou will now have to turn to veteran back-up Fraser Forster.

FA probes referee David Coote over betting claim
The Football Association is investigating allegations Premier League referee David Coote discussed giving a yellow card with a fan before a match in England's second-tier Championship.
The Sun newspaper reported on Wednesday that 42-year-old Coote, who strongly denies any wrongdoing, discussed the prospect of booking then-Leedsw player Ezgjan Alioski with a supporter of the club the day before a game between Leeds and West Brom in October 2019.
The newspaper alleges after Coote booked the player during the match, he messaged the individual back to say: "I hope you backed as discussed."
