MLS - TV and Streaming details for all games on September 21-22

The 2024 Major League Soccer campaign returns this Saturday, with many points to talk about and even more scores to settle. This weekend will feature current Supporters' Shield leaders Inter Miami trying to get back on the winning wagon after a late draw, while LA Galaxy and Cincinnati try to catch up with the Herons.

The rest of this weekend's games will also feature some interesting games for those gunning for a playoff spot. That will include Los Angeles FC and Real Salt Lake, who will try to escape their respective games with comfortable wins that extend their fight for a higher spot in the West.

Meanwhile, the East prepares to see Columbus Crew trying to build a winning streak after dropping the ball during last weekend's game against Cincinnati. The Crew will have to be wary of picking any injuries, since they will have another international commitment next week, but that must not be an excuse for Cucho Hernández and Co. for not getting the full points against Orlando.

Here is all you need to know about the weekend games.

New York City vs Inter Miami

It will be an event for the ages in the Big Apple, as Lionel Messi makes his first trip to Yankee Stadium. "La Pulga" and Co. will aim to go back to winning ways against Nick Cushing's men, who have failed to win any of their last five games. Happily for the hosts, they are currently on a four-game streak without a loss when facing the Herons, although none of those matches came with Messi on the pitch. Will the Argentine's trip to the legendary baseball venue have a happy ending?

Nashville vs Cincinnati

Current Eastern Conference runners-up Cincinnati take a trip to Nashville, where the hosts try to make a late charge for a spot in the playoffs despite a disappointing season. The Boys in Gold still have a shot at making the postseason, but to do so they must continue their two-game winning streak gere. Meanwhile, Cincinnati get to GEODIS Park with two wins and one draw in their last three, and with high hopes of claiming a win on the road against Nashville like they did back in March 2023, the date of their last trip to this venue.

LA Galaxy vs Vancouver Whitecaps

The Galaxy are closing in on their first Western Conference regular season title in over a decade, and while they may have a handsome five-point lead now, they cannot afford to drop the ball in front of their supporters and against a tough conference rival. Vancouver has escaped defeat in their last two trips to Dignity Health Sports Park, and managing to get a third one would be wonderful for their cause, mainly since they sit sixth in the conference only one point behind Seattle and Colorado. Los Angeles get to this game after an unexpected loss at Portland (4-2), which will make this match even more relevant if they don't want to get a bit nervous during the final stretch of the regular season.
