One stat from each team in the UWCL quarter-finals & UWEC semi-finals return legs

Lyonnes complete comeback as Barca run rampant

6 - Bayern Munich seemed to be heading for extra time in their return leg against Manchester United, only for Glodis Viggosdottir and Linda Dallmann to score three minutes apart from each other late on. That sealed a 2-1 victory on the night for the Bavarians, who ultimately advanced 5-3 on aggregate. They move on to their third UWCL semi-final, five years on from their last appearance. They also maintain their perfect home record versus English sides in Europe, now reaching six.

15 - Man United's European journey is over, having given a good account of themselves in their maiden UWCL showing. The Red Devils were a bit inconsistent though - while they did keep eight clean sheets throughout the season (qualifiers included), they also let in quite a few goals. Only once did they win when they conceded, back on matchday 3. In total, United conceded 15 times across their 14 games.

19 - Sjoeke Nusken's stoppage time strike for Chelsea came a bit too late for them in their tie. While they did defeat fellow London rivals Arsenal 1-0 at Stamford Bridge, it was not enough to keep them in the competition. The Blues exit, losing 3-2 across the two legs. This marks their earliest elimination since 2020/21, when they went out at the group stage. Chelsea can take some solace in securing their 19th European home clean sheet.

13 - Arsenal are now just three games away from becoming the fifth different club to successfully defend the Women's Champions League trophy. The Gunners ended up outshooting Chelsea 22-16 in the match, executing enough control to hold onto their first leg advantage. While they still lost on the night, they were the ones left celebrating. Arsenal's 13-game scoring streak in the UWCL came to an end with the result.

32 - Just like the first leg, Barcelona had no problems against their sworn enemies Real Madrid. Blaugrana made it three wins over Real in the space of a week, this time beating them 6-0 in front of a packed Camp Nou. Caroline Graham Hansen netted two of the goals for last season's finalists, who are in the semis of the UWCL for the eighth year running. Across eight matches in Europe this term, Barca have scored 32 times, an average of four goals per game.

2 - Real were always the underdogs in this two-legged tie, given their record against Barca. While they were the ones chasing the tie, it was hard to tell, given their opponents' domination. Nevertheless, Las Merengues will have to wait another season to try and make it past this stage for the first time. In fact, this was just the second time that Madrid have lost both legs of a UEFA club competition tie. The other occasion? Also coming against Barcelona, back in 2021/22.

14 - It took OL Lyonnes 16 minutes to tie the aggregate score against Wolfsburg through Lily Yohannes, but the record champions were still pushed to extra time before they could finish off their German opposition. When the dust settled, the French side prevailed 4-0 on the night and 4-1 overall. Lyonnes maintain their excellent home form in the UWCL as they are now 14 games without defeat (12-2-0).

4 - The tournament's most common matchup saw Wolfsburg fall to defeat for the eighth time across 13 meetings. This was the heaviest of the losses in the head-to-head for Die Wolfinnen, who were knocked out at this point by Lyonnes for the third time. While they did end a six-game run of reverses in the first leg, it will still feel like bitter disappointment for the Frauen Bundesliga club, who were held off the scoresheet against Lyonnes for the fourth time.

Hammarby, Hacken make it an all-Sweden UWEC final

12 -  BK Hacken were the first team to qualify for the UEFA Women's Europa Cup final although they were beaten 1-0 at home against Eintracht Frankfurt. Nicole Anyomi scored the only goal of the contest at the half-hour mark, but that was the closest Frankfurt came to overcoming their 3-0 loss from the first match. The Swedes advanced 3-1 on aggregate, marking a historic moment for the club. Across six matches against German teams, Hacken have conceded 12 times.

27 - The most decorated team to enter the UWEC this term, Frankfurt missed out on what would have been a seventh European final. Having won seven of eight matches in the competition, the Germans will be left reflecting on what could have been. After all, they were the ones pushing for more goals. In the end, they fall short of making the competition's first-ever final. In the second leg, Frankfurt amassed a whopping 27 shots.

18 - Not long after fellow Damallsvenskan side Hacken made the UWEC final, Hammarby joined them after topping Sparta Prague 2-0, earning a 5-2 success overall. Playing in just their second-ever European campaign, Bajen qualify for their maiden continental final. What a rise it has been for the club, who were in the second tier as recently as 2020. In total, Hammarby played just 18 matches across the UWCL and UWEC before making the latter's final.

8 - Sparta's first semi-final in a UEFA club competition ended in disappointment, but cannot take away from what has otherwise been a fantastic journey for the Czechs. They played 10 matches this term, something they only did once previously back in 2005/06. Now it will be back to focusing on the domestic league for them as they look to clinch their 22nd title. Sparta have lost eight times now versus teams from Sweden.
