The 2024 Leagues Cup is about to get underway with a series of games that will surely show the increasing rivalry between Liga MX and MLS clubs.
Just like last year, the competition will kick off on Friday, this time with five fixtures to keep an eye on, whether it is on TV or via streaming platforms.
Given that MLS teams outnumber their Liga MX counterparts, it will not be strange to see teams from the same league facing each other in this first Matchday. In fact, the first two games of the tournament will only include MLS teams, forcing Liga MX's clubs to wait a bit more to play.
