Serie A - Preview, Broadcast and Streaming info for Match Day 32: April 12-15, 2024

The battle for the 2023-24 Serie A title is set to continue this weekend with league leaders  Inter trying to add more points to their current tally. With seven games left for all clubs, only a tragedy could strip the nerazzurri from another Scudetto, but they still have to be wary of Milan's chances of catching up in the event of a slup up by Inzaghi's crew.

Speaking of those behind them, Milan are six points ahead of Juventus, which puts them in a perfect spot to claim the runner-up spot. Meanwhile, Bologna seem to have surrendered their hopes for a second-place finish since they are trailing Milan by ten but still have a four-point margin against Juve. Roma and Atalanta complete the top six teams in this league, although Napoli and Lazio may still have something to say about their options.

The battle to avoid relegation is still a complicated matter, but Empoli's win last week was an absolute lifeline for the Tuscan side. Hellas Verona, Frosinone, and Sassuolo keep their options open, while Salernitana's fate seems to be sorted out weeks ago.

Here are the main things to keep in mind ahead of this weekend's matches.

Serie A standings ahead of Matchday 32

[TABLE 39]

Top games to watch

Torino vs Juventus - The Derby Della Mole returns with Juventus recently ending a four-game run without a win, which kept them in the race to end third in the league. On the other hand, Torino lost a four-game run without a loss in their previous match, giving Ivan Juric's team a blow in their options to finish among the top six. Torino has been unable to beat Juventus in a Derby since 2015, and if they want to put an end to a run that has seen them lose 15 of their last 19 games against the bianconeri, they should really take advantage of their recent shaky form.

Sassuolo vs Milan - The rossoneri make a trip to face one of the teams involved in the battle for relegation, and they do so trying to keep their slim title hopes open. Meanwhile, their hosts on Sunday are desperate to end their winless run of three games, mainly because a victory would get them out of relegation spots almost immediately. Sassuolo have not been able to beat Milan in their last three games at home, which may be a good omen for Stefano Pioli's men ahead of this match.

[MATCH 4695181]

Inter vs Cagliari - The league leaders claimed a dramatic win in their Monday night clash against Udinese, giving them an option to maintain a 14-point lead at the top. Now they return to the Giuseppe Meazza to face Cagliari, one of the teams they have managed to dominate in recent years. The nerazzurri have beaten their visitors on Sunday in seven of their last eight matches, including a two-nil win back in August. Will this be a sign of things to come for Inzaghi's crew?
