Telemundo details coverage plans for Saturday's Liga MX Clásico

Fútbol fans in the United States are set to live one of the best matches in Liga MX this season, when Telemundo's coverage brings them one more edition of the Clásico de México featuring Guadalajara and defending champions Club América.

Telemundo, Chivas' home in the United States, will bring the stalemate between El Rebaño and the yellow-and-blue side with a special pregame show, which will be followed by the clash live on Telemundo, Universo, and Peacock.

This time, Mexico's top rivalry will see Guadalajara fresh off a one-nil win in the Champions Cup, precisely against América. On the other side of the pitch, the Liga MX title holders will try to bounce back with a convincing performance in front of their supporters, which usually show up in big numbers to watch the game live.

For those who are not able to do the same and live in the U.S., Telemundo will deliver their top-class coverage of the match starting with Futbol Estelar Chivas Extra as the game preview at 9:00 p.m. ET, led by Verónica Rodríguez in Miami and by Miguel Gurwitz live from Guadalajara. In-game commentary will be led by Jorge Calvo, with former midfielder Manuel Sol providing color comments, leaving pitch-side duties to Alonso González.

Once the game comes to an end, Futbol Estelar Chivas Extra will return to provide thorough analysis of the game and special content related to Guadalajara, with new coach Gerardo Espinoza and sporting director Javier Mier sharing their general views of their new jobs with the club.

Keep track of the game with this Saturday only on Telemundo and its sister platforms. Keep in mind that the clash and kickoff time are subject to change without further notice.
