This week's focus will be on the league's most popular teams, who will have relevant matches throughout the weekend. The first to play will be Cruz Azul, followed by Guadalajara. Nonetheless, the biggest match of them all will come on Sunday, when América and Pumas lock horns in another edition of their bitter rivalry.

Pachuca have beaten La Máquina in their last two matches with the same score (1-0), but Cruz Azul's form has been impressive all season long, so we could see Martín Anselmi's team ending that streak. Cruz Azul's last away game ended in defeat, which will certainly serve as motivation to try and go back to winning ways when playing on the road against a team that has struggled to win matches all season.
