Argentina and Brazil headline Telemundo and Universo's Road to World Cup coverage

It will be an evening to remember for soccer fans in the United States when Telemundo and Universo team up to cover two of the top games left to be played in the international break. The games in question involve none others than the current World Cup champions, Argentina, and the most-winning club in that competition: Brazil.

The winners from the 2022 World Cup are still at the top of CONMEBOL's ranking, but they get to their clash against Peru following an unexpected loss to Paraguay, which makes this match key to keep the top spot all to themselves. This game will be covered on Telemundo with their stellar lineu of analysts, including play-by-play action called by the legendary Andrés Cantor and in-match analysis provided by former Mexico midfielder Manuel Sol.

One hour after that game kicks off, the five-time World Cup champions continue their battle to go back to their usual spots, but to do so they must beat one of the most in-form teams in South America: Uruguay. La Celeste is second in the competition, and if they can win here and Argentina drop the ball, we could be seeing a new leader emerging at Fonte Nova Arena. The legendary Latin American duo of Luis Omar Tapia and Eduardo Biscayart will be calling this game for Spanish-speaking audiences via UNIVERSO.

Here is Telemundo's programming of that game.
