Top Premier League games to watch on matchday four

Southampton vs Manchester United: The Red Devils will get matchday four underway when they travel to face Southampton on Saturday. Neither team have been in the best form lately, with Manchester United being heavily thrashed 3-0 by Liverpool in their last game prior to the international hiatus. Meanwhile, Southampton have made a rotten start to the nascent campaign, with three losses from their first three games. As such, it's safe to say that both teams will be desperate to turn their respective terrible runs of form around in a crunch clash for each side.

Manchester City vs Brentford: Brentford will become the latest team to try to stop reigning champions Manchester City when the Bees travel to face Pep Guardiola's troops on Saturday. As many expected, City currently come into this game having won all three of their matches, and are the heavy favorites to make it four on the spin this weekend. That being said, Brentford have made a solid start to the current season, with two wins from their first three games and will be hopeful of trying to cause as many problems as they can for the Cityzens at the Etihad this Saturday.

[MATCH 4960401]

Bournemouth vs Chelsea: It has been less than an inspiring start to the 2024/25 campaign for Chelsea, who have won just one of their three games so far. The Blues, thus, will hope that this upcoming game just may be the one they can turn things around. However, that will be much easier said than done for a team who have been rather inconsistent so far this term. Bournemouth, meanwhile, have earned a solid five points from their first three matches, and will certainly be aiming to use their home pitch advantage to full effect when a Chelsea side still in transition show up on Saturday.

[MATCH 4960395]

Tottenham vs Arsenal: Last but certainly not least - another installment of the North London Derby. For Tottenham, they will be even more motivated to try to pick up a vital three points against their bitter rivals as they will host the first of these meetings this season. Tottenham come into this match having lost 2-1 to Newcastle United last time out, but they were absolutely imperious in their last home game that saw them cruised to a 4-0 win over Everton. As for Arsenal, the Gunners will be desperate to get back to winning ways after dropping two points in a 1-1 draw against Brighton just before the international pause.
