What are this week's must-watch games?
Newcastle vs Arsenal live this Saturday at 8:30 a.m. ET on USA Network, UNIVERSO, and fuboTV
Arsenal will be in for a tough test over the next few days, starting with Saturday's trip to St. James' Park. The Gunners visit Newcastle in desperate need of a win following back-to-back slip-ups in the league, losing 2-0 to Bournemouth and drawing 2-2 with Liverpool in their last two outings. The Magpies, on the other hand, are winless in their last five Premier League matches, losing three and drawing the other two, and have thus slipped to 12th in the table. Do not miss this showdown.
Atlanta United vs Inter Miami live this Saturday at 7 p.m. ET exclusively on MLS Season Pass
Will Inter Miami secure their Eastern Conference semifinal ticket this weekend? The Herons take on Atlanta United on Saturday in Game 2 of the Best-of-3 Series, having won the opening encounter 2-1. This means Messi and Co. simply need another win to progress to the next round. While the odds do not favor Atlanta, the Five Stripes have the home advantage, meaning Tata Martino's side should expect a test.
Manchester United vs Chelsea live this Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET on Telemundo, USA Network, and fuboTV
The standout game of the weekend will see under-turmoil Manchester United host Chelsea in the Premier League. This will be the Red Devils' first league match since they officially sacked Erik ten Hag, a decision that followed the club's 2-1 loss at West Ham. Ruud van Nistelrooy is in charge on an interim basis and will be aiming for a second consecutive win, having overseen the 5-2 midweek victory over Leicester in the Carabao Cup. Chelsea, on the other hand, were eliminated from the Carabao Cup by Newcastle and will want to bounce back at Old Trafford.
UEFA Champions League action returns to Paramount+ and ViX this midweek as Real Madrid vs Milan, Liverpool vs Leverkusen headline fixtures list
Matchday 4 of the UEFA Champions League takes place this midweek. Several exciting matches will are scheduled for this round, starting with Real Madrid's highly-anticipated trip to the San Siro. Los Blancos currently sit 12th in the table but enter this matchday on the back of their amazing comeback against Dortmund. However, Ancelotti's men were recently thrashed 4-0 in El Clasico and will need to bounce back against AC Milan.
That same day, Liverpool play hosts to Bayer Leverkusen, with Xabi Alonso returning to Anfield in the dugout after heavily being linked with the managerial role. However, Liverpool are not the only English club in for a tough test as Arsenal prepare to visit Inter Milan on Wednesday. While the Gunners are ninth in the standings, Arteta's men are yet to impress in Europe and should be in for a tricky ride this midweek.
Wrapping things up is Atletico Madrid's trip to PSG. Los Rojiblancos were thrashed 3-1 at home to Lille in their most recent UEFA Champions League tie, with Diego Simeone taking full responsibility following the full-time whistle. PSG, meanwhile, were held to a 1-1 draw by PSV and will also be on the hunt for victory.
MLS Season Pass - Full soccer schedule for November 1-3, 2024
All eyes will be on Major League Soccer over the next few days as Game 2 of the Best-of-3 Series is upon us.
Fans excited about the upcoming fixtures need not look any further than MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, with the Apple Inc. streaming service promising to deliver all eight matches on Friday through Sunday to its subscribers.
The weekend is jam-packed with non-stop thrillers, starting with Cincinnati's trip to New York City on Saturday after winning Game 1 by a goal to nil. While the Pigeons lost by a single goal, Nick Cushing's side were dominated by Luciano Acosta and Co. and were fortunate not to lose by a larger margin. This means the hosts will need to drastically improve on the pitch this Saturday if they wish to force a Game 3.
Inter Miami take to the field that same day, visiting Atlanta United following a 2-1 win in Game 1. While Lionel Messi has been the Herons' talisman, it was his former Barcelona teammates Luis Suarez and Jordi Alba who got on the scoresheet that day. Can the Five Stripes turn things around against the Supporters' Shield champions?
Sunday is where the most anticipated Best-of-3 Series showdown will take place: New York Red Bulls vs Columbus Crew. The Crew, the reigning MLS Cup champions and this season's Supporters' Shield runners-up, could suffer an early elimination in their trip to the Red Bull Arena. Wilfried Nancy's side lost Game 1 by a goal to nil, meaning Sunday's tie will be a crucial 90 minutes. New York were defensively disciplined in Game 1 but the question is whether they can repeat this feat.

Live Streaming schedule for Peacock: October 31-November 3, 2024
NBC's OTT (over-the-top) subscription streaming service Peacock will be delivering another week of exciting soccer matches, with the weekend fixtures list in particular standing out.
The English Premier League dominates Peacock's weekend coverage, with five matches in total hitting the streaming service this Saturday. This includes games involving title favorites Manchester City and Liverpool.
Pep Guardiola's men take on Bournemouth amid an injury crisis and will be wary of losing their first Premier League game of the season. Meanwhile, Liverpool face Brighton in a repeat of their recent five-goal Carabao Cup thriller, which the Merseyside giants won 3-2. However, Anfield will be the venue this time, not the Amex.
Elsewhere, fans can also catch West Ham's trip to the high-flying Nottingham Forest and relegation-battling Wolves host Crystal Palace this Saturday. However, Premier League action is not the only thing Peacock has to offer.

By far, the biggest game taking place on matchday ten will be Sunday's blockbuster clash starring Manchester United vs Chelsea. For the Red Devils, this will be a major test as it is the first Premier League game with interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy in charge following Erik ten Hag's sacking on October 28th. Chelsea, for their part, sit in fifth place coming into this contest and will certainly want to build on their recent 2-1 win over Newcastle as they aim to try to close the gap on some of the sides ahead of them in the table.

Ballon d'Or wins 'normal' for Barcelona star Bonmati
Barcelona midfielder Aitana Bonmati used to watch Lionel Messi winning Ballon d'Or trophies and think it was "incredible" but now she has won two herself, she is taking it in her stride.
The 26-year-old playmaker was crowned the best women's player in the world for the second time in Paris this week and told media including AFP how she is managing fame and still looking to improve.

"I'm taking it as something normal, I know there are people who will see it from the outside as something extraordinary, but from inside it's normal, and I don't think much about it," said Bonmati. Read more…
Real Madrid boycott Ballon d'Or ceremony
The Ballon d'Or ceremony got underway on Monday in the absence of Real Madrid stars Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham after the Spanish club said it would boycott over a perceived snub of its players.
Vinicius was not among the nominees who paraded onto the stage at the Paris' Chatelet Theatre where the ceremony was held.
He was featured in a video montage shown to guests at the ceremony and TV viewers.
The seven players from the Real Madrid contingent who were shortlisted for the individual award, including Kylian Mbappe, Antonio Rudiger, Fede Valverde, and the retired Toni Kroos did not show up to walk the red carpet before the ceremony began.
The Spanish and European champions told AFP earlier Monday they questioned the methods behind the selection of the Ballon d'Or winner, saying that their defender Dani Carvajal, another of the 30 players nominated, had also been unfairly overlooked. Read more…

Milan and Inter back on long road towards a new San Siro
Inter Milan and AC Milan are once again aiming to get a new stadium built on the site of the iconic San Siro but the Serie A giants have a long way to go before they'll be able to set foot in the modern arena for which they have long hoped.
The announcement on Tuesday that a "positive" meeting was held between the two clubs, mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala, and Italy's culture and sports ministers relaunched a project that was abandoned in 2023 after it spent over three years winding its way through the bureaucratic and political corridors.
That project—originally priced at 1.3 billion euros ($1.4 billion)—will have to be revised to include only a partial demolition of the existing, city-owned San Siro. The site would be used for green space and a range of sports facilities and entertainment venues.
Meanwhile, a new stadium, which in the previous project was planned to have a capacity of 60,000, would be built in the area to the immediate west of the current ground which is currently occupied by car parking and a local park. Read more…
Manchester United sack manager Ten Hag
Manchester United have sacked manager Erik ten Hag following the club's lackluster start to the season, the fallen Premier League giants announced Monday.
United dropped to a lowly 14th in the table after suffering their fourth defeat in nine league games at West Ham on Sunday and have won only one of their last eight games in all competitions.
"Erik ten Hag has left his role as Manchester United men's first-team manager," said a club statement.
"Erik was appointed in April 2022 and led the club to two domestic trophies, winning the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024.
"We are grateful to Erik for everything he has done during his time with us and wish him well for the future." Read more…

He is expected to take charge at Old Trafford during the November international break, with his first game set to be United's away trip to Ipswich on November 24.
Sky Sports said it was understood the Premier League club had paid Sporting an extra one million euros over and above his 10 million euro ($11 million) exit clause for an early release. Read more…
Jurgen Klopp to target player welfare in Red Bull role
Jurgen Klopp said on Wednesday he hoped to be a "mouthpiece for the players" in his new role with Red Bull, for instance by targeting player welfare issues.
In October, the energy drinks company announced the former Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund coach would take over the role from January, overseeing a stable of clubs in Leipzig, New York, and Salzburg.
Speaking on the podcast of former Germany and Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos, Klopp called the job "fantastic" and said criticism from some German football fans of his decision to accept the role was "not hugely relevant to me".
Klopp said he expected to take on a broad set of responsibilities, including advocating for player welfare. Read more…
