Arsenal plan another transfer spree after ending 22-year title wait

The celebrations at Selhurst Park included the presence of owner Stan Kroenke and son Josh, who were part of the scenes marking a historic achievement for Mikel Arteta’s side.

Yet behind the emotion and celebrations of a first league crown since 2004, planning for the next phase is already underway.

The message from within the club is clear: this is not a moment to stand still. Arsenal believe there is an opportunity to build something far deeper than a single title-winning season.

The ambition is to create a period of sustained dominance at the top of English football.

While the immediate focus remains on the Champions League final against PSG, the belief around the club has never been stronger.

Players, staff, and executives all feel Arsenal are only at the beginning of what this squad can achieve.

Flashscore sources understand Arsenal are preparing for another major summer in the transfer market, with significant investment once again expected.

A midfielder, full-back, and wide left attacker are among the positions being targeted, while the club could also move for a striker if the right opportunity emerges.

Crucially, Arsenal now feel they can compete for the very best players in world football. Last summer’s £250m investment transformed the squad and delivered the ultimate reward domestically.

Although spending will not quite reach those same levels this year, the appetite to strengthen remains as strong as ever.

The club is equally determined to keep their core players motivated and committed.

Declan Rice, one of Arsenal’s standout performers this season, is expected to open contract talks over a new deal that would likely see his salary rise significantly from his current terms - thought to be around £240,000-per-week - bringing him closer to Bukayo Saka’s £300,000-per-week terms.

Arsenal do not want this title to be remembered as a one-off. Internally, there is a determination to stay ahead of their rivals - and they are prepared to spend again to make sure they do.
