A stat from each team after the Women's Champions League semis and Europa Cup final first legs

Arsenal claim narrow advantage, Bayern hold firm

3 - Although they went down early on in the match, Bayern Munich will head to Spain on level pegging with Barcelona. The match finished 1-1 at the Allianz Arena, with the hosts playing the final 10 minutes down a woman. Franziska Kett got her side's goal, only to be sent off 11 minutes later to make the ending very nervy. Bayern, who lost 7-1 to Barca at the start of the league phase, are now unbeaten in their last three home matches versus Spanish opposition (2-1-0).

4 - It is a rare occasion where Barcelona do not win a match, regardless of the competition. Ewa Pajor needed less than 10 minutes to put them in front on the road, but this time, they were unable to prevail. While they are still the overwhelming favourites to advance to a sixth successive final, the task has become a bit trickier. But they remain undefeated in their last four UWCL semi-final games (3-1-0).

17 - A late winner from Olivia Smith gave Arsenal the edge in their semi, beating OL Lyonnes 2-1. Despite going down in the opening half, the holders kept on putting efforts on goal, ultimately doing what was required to come out on top. It was only the third time the Gunners topped the French side, but this could be an important victory. Across 12 games between the pair, Arsenal have now scored 17 times, two less than Lyonnes.

1 - Just as they did in the quarter-finals, Lyonnes will have to turn things around in the second leg. The record winners had won the league phase meeting between the two during the fall, and will need to replicate that showing next Saturday at home. Although l'OL have never lost back-to-back games on the continental scene, this is the first time ever they have been beaten in two straight road matches. They did lose home games at the quarter-final and semi-final stage nine years ago, but still won the trophy.

Hacken on the cusp of continental glory

13 - The all-Swedish Women's Europa Cup showpiece saw Hammarby fall 1-0 to BK Hacken at the 3Arena. It leaves Bajen needing to find the back of the net in Friday's decider - the final is played over two legs - if they are to achieve continental glory. Hammarby have already lost at home in the UWEC, needing penalties in the quarter-finals. Now they have to repeat the magic. It was not as if they did not create chances - in total, they had 13 attempts.

6 - Hacken have been the class of the pack in the UWEC this term, and could crown a wonderful campaign with a trophy to their name. Felicia Schroder scored the only goal for Getingarna midway through the opening half, which proved to be enough. The number six is important here for two reasons: Hacken have now kept six clean sheets in their nine UWEC games, and they have also managed to go unbeaten on the road in Europe this term across six clashes (4-2-0).
