8 March 2025 – Nedbank Cup
Playing in just his second match as a professional, Mbokazi scored the opening goal for his side in their 2-2 draw with SuperSport United in the Nedbank Cup, a tie they would go on to win on penalties.
The ball fell to him just inside the box and he set himself well before firing into the far corner of the net.
It was a good display of control and pinpoint finishing from the then 19-year-old.

4 October 2025 – Carling Knockout
This outrageous strike showed his ambition and confidence to have a shot from range as he collected the ball some 50 yards from goal, took a few steps and absolutely rifled it into the corner of the net in the 1-0 win.
Most players would not even attempt that effort on goal, but with his power and ability to hit the target, Mbokazi took it on.
It proved a crucial goal too, as Pirates won a tight tie in the Carling Knockout against Siwelele and would go on to lift the trophy that season.
South Africa vs Panama
31 March 2026 – Friendly international
Bafana Bafana were struggling to break Panama down in their 2-1 defeat in Cape Town, so it was always going to take something special to score. Mbokazi delivered.
He took a pass from Themba Zwane, moved the ball away from the defender with one touch and unleashed an absolute thunderbolt into the far corner of the net.
It left the goalkeeper with no chance because of the power and accuracy of the shot.
