Copa Libertadores - Quarter-final games to watch

River Plate vs Colo-Colo: The Chilean side was unable to get a win against Los Millonarios at home, as the game from last Tuesday ended 1-1- Now, this will force the away side to win this clash if they pretend to get to the next round. Both coaches will re-ignite their rivalry from Jorge Almirón's time at Boca, which ended in more wins for River's boss. Will we see him add to those stats and get the Argentine side to one more semi-final stage?

[MATCH 5035340]

Atlético Mineiro vs Fluminense: The current Copa Libertadores champions claimed an unexpected 1-0 win thanks to a late goal, but this tie is far from being decided. Atlético Mineiro have been in better form this season than the defending champions, but surprisingly, "Flu" are unbeaten against Atlético in their most recent three games, the last two without conceding. If Mano Menezes' team can keep that up, they will be able to go back to the final four as last year but in way different circumstances.

[MATCH 5032722]

Sao Paulo vs Botafogo: The league leaders in Brazil may not have been capable of beating Sao Paulo in their last three games (all of them ended in draws),  but everything changes when you realize their unbeaten streak goes to seven games, five of those without conceding. O Galo seem like the safest bet for Brazil to claim the title, but Sao Paulo could shock the black and white side thanks to players such as Pablo Maia and Lucas Moura.

[MATCH 5036423]

Peñarol vs Flamengo: In what turned out to be the most shocking result of the first legs, Peñarol escaped the Maracaná with a win against Flamengo, mainly due to goalkeeper Washington Aguerre's impressive performance. Now, the team led by Tite must win by two goals if they want to end things during the first 90 minutes. Last week's result kept Peñarol's unbeaten status against the Rubro-Negro, and judging by the number of absences the Brazilians will have for this game, it would not be a surprise to see them eliminated by coach Diego Aguirre and his men.
