The time has come to crown a winner in the Apertura 2024 edition, and fans in the United States will be able to see the full title series courtesy of Univisión.
This time, it will be time for an anticipated rematch in this type of match, as América will want to get even with Monterrey after Rayados took away the Apertura 2019 title from them in front of their enraged fans. Now, the tables have turned and it will be Monterrey who host the decisive game at Estadio BBVA this Sunday.
América, the current title holders, are looking for an unprecedented three-peat in Liga MX. No team under the current format has even come close to what André Jardiné and his men are about to accomplish, and following their 4-3 win over the heavily favoured Cruz Azul, it seems that all stars have aligned for Las Águilas to make history.

Univisión will handle live TV coverage for both games. The first one set to take place in Puebla, where los Azulcremas will host the first leg since their stadium is under serious maintenance to host the opening match of the 2026 World Cup. Broadcast of this game will begin at 8:30 p.m. ET on Univisión and TUDN. Meanwhile, VIX will handle live streaming coverage.
The return leg will be held three days lated, with the same channels and streaming service handling coverage of the clash, which is scheduled for December 15 at 7:30 p.m. ET. Keep in mind that the game could go on for over two hours, since extra time and penalties could be used to determine the winner.
