Spectrum SportsNet

Spectrum SportsNet is an America-based regional sports network available through cable and satellite television. The channel is owned by Charter Communications and Los Angeles Lakers in a joint partnership, and the latter maintains editorial control over the content of the channel. The network is headquartered in El Segundo, California.

The channel was originally launched by Time Warner Cable on October 1, 2012. Spectrum SportsNet is primarily an English channel, but it provides a Spanish language audio track for some of its programming.

Spectrum Sports Net LA is the sister channel of this network.

Spectrum SportsNet covers the regions of Southern California, Central California, Las Vegas Valley and Hawaii. The channel is available nationwide through satellite television and comes in both 1080i and 480i picture formats.

The channel has been the exclusive channel of LA Lakers, and it has aired all Lakers games that are not televised nationally. Furthermore, you can also catch a lot of Lakers-related off-the-pitch content, such as interviews etc, on the channel. It also focuses on other LA sporting teams such as Galaxy, Sparks, Dodgers and Chargers.
