Bally Sports Florida

Fox Sports Florida is an English-language regional sports channel operating under Fox Sports Networks in USA, and owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group. The channel broadcasts in 720p (HD) and 480i (SD). It was founded in July 1987 under the name SportsChannel Florida. At the time, it was owned by Rainbow Media and was part of a national group of networks called SportsChannel America. After a switch of ownership, it was relaunched in 2000 as Fox Sports Net Florida, and years later simply as Fox Sports Florida.

As its name suggests, its content revolves around professional and college sports teams from the state of Florida. Popular teams that may be regularly featured on the network include: The Tampa Bay Rays and Miami Marlins (baseball), Miami Heat and Orlando Magic (basketball), Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers (ice hockey), Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Miami Dolphins (American football) and more.

To avoid scheduling conflicts, an alternate feed of the channel, called Fox Sports Florida Alternate, is maintained. It is made available to all cable and satellite TV providers that have the network as part of their channel lineup.
